This course, Communication strategies: Part one, explores how we communicate and provides meaningful strategies for communication with a person living with dementia. In this course, you will: 

• Explore the significance of non-verbal and para-verbal cues, as well as active listening in effective communication.
• Identify key communication strategies that you can use before, during and while ending interactions with a person living with dementia.
